Stephen M. Pickens to head EDS’s pacific rim operations
Stephen M. Pickens will head Equity Development Systems, Ltd. San Francisco-based pacific rim investment banking, lending compliance and credit analysis operations. Mr. Pickens has over 25 years experience underwriting and managing both debt and equity transactions over a wide range of market spaces including technology, clean tech and life science. He has been responsible for functional operational components of several major lending organizations both regulated and unregulated. Some of these functions in addition to underwriting have included asset management, billing, legal oversight and outside equity/debt raises and placement.
Mr. Pickens was VP of Finance for a finance subsidiary of Aon a well known insurance company. Later he became Chief Credit Officer of an ABN backed environmental finance fund and VP and Manager of the Mellon USL syndication department which booked on average over $400MM per year in transactions. Recently he managed the life science portfolio of a subsidiary company of Sumitomo.
