Investment Recovery Centers of America® unit owns/operates strategically located multipurpose venues for the recovery, storage, and remarketing of our clients’ recovered assets. Our full service Recovery Centers fulfill EDS’s unique capacity to offer our clients the opportunity to marshal their assets to our secure centralized facilities for single-point disposition.
Our flagship venue, the Port of Slidell, is our privately owned 55-acre waterfront Business and Industrial Park in Slidell, Louisiana, USA. Slidell is a major Gulf South intermodal transportation hub equidistant to and linking metropolitan New Orleans and the Greater Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Port of Slidell enjoys 1 mile of waterfront on Bayou Bonfouca that marries the regions waterways at the convergence of interstate highways I-10, I-12, and I-59. Our facility affords easy access to inland (shallow-draft) marine traffic to and from the Gulf of Mexico and the Mississippi River via the New Orleans Industrial Canal through Lake Pontchartrain.
Investment Recovery Centers of America®, Port of Slidell venue serves as a major US Gulf Coast regional asset recovery and asset remarketing center for lenders, lessors, and the financial services industry, and specializes in handling the disposition of off lease / end-of-lease and recovered marine related machinery and equipment, land based and floating assets, e.g. cranes, barges, workboats, vessels, and other such marine related assets and cargoes.
